Hospitality Management Career Fair

Kent State’s hospitality management program will be hosting their second annual career fair Monday, March 10. Businesses from restaurant, foodservice, hotel, country club and casino industries will be in the Moulton Hall ballroom from 1—4 p.m. The companies will be looking to hire students for full, part-time and seasonal positions, as well as internships and supervisory and management positions.

There will be 29 companies at this year’s career fair, an increase from last year’s 25. Swathi Ravichandran, assistant professor and coordinator of the event, said she has had to turn away more companies because of the lack of space and to keep an ideal student—to—company ratio at the fair.

Some of the representatives that will be in attendance are Kalahari Resorts, Cedar Point and Hard Rock Rocksino.

This event is open exclusively to hospitality management majors, minors and alumni; recreation, park, and tourism management majors; event planning minors, and hospitality and tourism management graduate students of Kent State.
