University Library to host World Cup viewing parties
The 2014 FIFA World Cup final game will be live streamed on the fourth floor of the University Library Sunday, July 13 at 3 p.m.
Assistant Reference Librarian Michael Hawkins said there would be free give-a-ways, pizza, and other snacks and desserts for the audience.
“There was a lot of students that came in and were interested in the world cup so we really want to be able to do something for them,” Hawkins said.
Brazil and Germany played on July 8, and on July 9 Netherlands faced Argentina in the semi-finals, both of which were also live streamed at the library.
