The Wick Poetry Center will be celebrating a variety of events from Sept. 25-27.

The Stan and Tom Wick Poetry Prize reading will take place on Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m. On Sept. 26, the ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. and the 30-year anniversary dinner will be 5:30 p.m. the same evening. Walter Wick, the founder, will be starting the Alumni poetry reading at noon on Sept. 27.

“It’s an exciting time,” said Wick Poetry Center fellow Ryan Lind. “The new house symbolizes our potential value as the connecting tissue for the university and our city.”
