Fred Bidwell, Malone Advertising former president and CEO, will be the keynote speaker of the Franklin Advertising Speaker Series on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. in the FirstEnergy Auditorium in Franklin Hall.

Bidwell has worked as a CEO in the advertising industry and now runs the Bidwell Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports artists and art institutions by sponsoring projects, programming and exhibitions. Bidwell is a prominent advertiser and an influential member of the Cleveland art community, Andy Lovrak, said a Franklin Advertising Association officer said.

Bidwell will share his story about how he launched a growth trajectory at the mid-size agency, turning it into one of the largest activation agencies in the world. He will also share the story of the Bidwell Foundation, which was established in 2011 and promotes creativity and innovation in the arts.

The event is sponsored by Franklin Advertising Association, Kent State’s advertsing club. All students are welcome to attend.
