Organization paints runway pink on Friday

This fashion show is to highlight that Breast Cancer awareness doesn’t stop in October. The show will feature looks from over seven stylists and designers.

Dunya Jeane Student Organization is partnering with the nonprofit organization, Not Just October to host a fashion show, “Paint the Runway Pink”, Friday, Dec. 5,  in the Kiva at 7 p.m.

This fashion show is to highlight that Breast Cancer awareness doesn’t stop in October. The show will feature looks from over svevn stylists and designers.

“It’s not going to be all pink,” said Cree Pippin, junior double major fashion design and merchandising and President of Dunya Jeane Student Organization, “we are allowing student designers to be creative with the theme.”

Tickets are $5 and will be available for purchase in the Kent State Student Center Dec. 3, from 6 – 9 p.m. and Dec. 4, from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. They will also be available at the door on the night of the show. 

“All the proceeds benefit the families that are supported by Not Just October,” said Pippen.
