The Alumni Association will be offering free professional headshots for students and alumni attending the Job and Internship Fair on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second floor of the Student Center at the fourth annual “Smile, You’re on LinkedIn” event.

Carrie Circosta, associate director of International Alumni Relations, said the growth in importance of online presence is where the idea for this event came from.

“Having a professional headshot taken is a way to make a good first impression,” said Circosta. “It’s important to show that you are presenting yourself in a professional manner online.”

 Photographs taken that day will be available in about seven to 10 business days. 

“This is a valuable tool for juniors and seniors that are starting to search for internships,” Circosta said. “Going somewhere to get a professional headshot can be pretty pricey so we hope students take advantage of the opportunity we are giving them.”
