Kent State releases 2015 football schedule

Coming off of a 2-9 overall season in 2014, the Kent State football team hopes to have a more successful year in 2015, according to the official schedule the university released earlier this week.

 

The Flashes will take on two Big Ten Conference teams in their upcoming season.

 

They will begin their season on Sept. 4 at Illinois University. The Flashes will then travel to the University of Minnesota on Sept.19to take on the second Big Ten team of the season.

 

Saturday Sept.12, the Flashes will host their home opener against Delaware State University, which will also be The Parents Day game. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m. and the game will be aired on ESPN3.

 

The Flashes will finish off September by playing Marshall University. During October they will face Miami, Toledo, the University of Massachusetts and Bowling Green. November will bring Buffalo, Ohio University, Central Michigan and Akron.
