South Lincoln Street is closed for construction Monday between Main Street and Summit Street. 

It is expected to reopen Friday, Aug. 7.

The road is being closed for the construction of underground utilities, according to a press release from city engineer Jim Bowling.

Drivers will still be able to access Hilltop Drive and R1 parking lots.

South Willow Street is being used as an alternate route.
