Field hockey hopes to remain undefeated in MAC
The Kent State field hockey team (3-7, 2-0) looks to remain undefeated in conference play as they take on Missouri State (3-9, 0-1) Sunday.
Following a 1-0 conference win against Central Michigan last Sunday, the Flashes hope their solid play carries over into this weekend’s road game.
Last season, the Flashes defeated Missouri State 2-0 and held scoreless until the second half.
Kent State will have to rely on leading scorer Madison Thompson this weekend, as both goals in last season’s game were scored by two graduated seniors.
Thompson was also voted Co-MAC offensive player of the week following last week’s win.
Sunday’s road game is set to begin at 1 p.m. in Springfield, Missouri.
