KENT CAMPUS – At 1:10 a.m., two men robbed a student of a cell phone & cash on Summit St near Whitehall Blvd. No weapon seen and no injuries

A KSU advisory sent out early Wednesday morning reported one student was robbed by two men on Summit Street near Whitehall Boulevard on the Kent Campus. 

The student was robbed of a cell phone and cash shortly after 1 a.m., according to the advisory. 

One suspect was described as being skinny and wearing a grey shirt and pants, while other was reported as having on a flat brim ball camp, dark shirt, dark pants and possibly a jacket, the advisory stated. 

Kent State reported on Twitter that no weapon was seen and no injuries have been sustained.

Individuals with information regarding the incident are urged to contact the Kent State Police at 330-672-2212.
