Franklin Township crews pave Brady Lake roads

Crews prepare to pave Leonard Avenue in Franklin Township.

Residents of the former Brady Lake village voted to disincorporate the village and become part of Franklin Township in the May 2017 election.

Now, six months later, big changes are happening. Franklin Township road crews started paving the treacherous roads last month.

“[The roads] were in horrible shape. They were in such bad shape we would have broken our equipment trying to plow the roads,” said Jake Biltz, road superintendent for Franklin Township.

TV2’s Anna Huntsman went to the area and spoke with residents and road crews about the community’s future.
