Kent State fashion alumna, firefighter and paramedic Jazmine Fischer-Veal is back from New York Fashion Week.
She described New York Fashion Week as an experience that solidified what she’s supposed to be doing.
“I just wanted to be able to say I had a moment there,” Fischer-Veal said.
Her Fall 2025 designs were showcased in two runway shows in Harlem and Chelsea, titled the Gemini Collection.
Now that she’s home, she says she can’t wait to start designing again, but her roles at the Akron Fire Department are her foundation.
