All 10 Kent State students and graduates who had their visas revoked earlier this month now have their statuses restored, according to a university spokesperson Monday.
Last week, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement reinstated visas for three graduates with optional practical training employment authorization, a temporary work permit available to international students. The latest round includes three current international students and four graduates.
The move came after the government announced it restored the status of thousands of international students after they were suddenly terminated. ICE did not disclose a reason for the visa terminations, nor did it respond to requests for comment.
A university spokesperson said Kent State has notified all 10 individuals of the change.
