Students, staff and community gathered on the third floor of the Kent State Student Center Monday, March 31, as three Israel Defense soldiers shared their personal stories.

KSU’s Students Supporting Israel hosted the event, “Triggered, The Tour: From Combat to Campus.” It featured stories from IDF soldiers who fought in Gaza following the Hamas attacks in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

The speakers shared their experience as well as classified pictures and videos.

During the educational event, Kent State police escorted protesters from the event. As well, protesters chanted outside of the room.
