Sunday, Sept. 27, State Champs Coffee hosted its first and last “Tiny Shop Concerts” at its Kent location. The concert was a chance for their Kent patrons to have one last big hurrah before the big move according to customers like Patrick Creeon. Creeon was one of many who got to reflect on the five months the coffee shop spent in downtown Kent. Co-owner Ally Eclarin says this won’t be the last concert for State Champs, nor will it be the last concert featuring the Cleveland band Recess.
